Creative Octopus Russell Wolff, a DJ, writer, musician, producer, photographer, LA politician & comedian, has been on stage since the age of 7. Wolff stumbled accidentally into the comedy world when beloved comedian Eric Andre asked him to DJ his Bar Mitzvah on Adult Swim in the Los Angeles party of the century.
Wolff is a Harvard grad & and steadfast advocate for equal rights who has spent his entire life in the entertainment industry. In 2015 he became both a recording studio owner and an ordained minister after witnessing the brutal discrimination leveled against same sex couples seeking to get married. Since then he has performed over 20 unions for all types of couples. As an actor (or himself) he has appeared on Adult Swim, the Eric Andre Show, the Food Network, & ABC show Nashville, and SIriusXM.
He began his career in the theater, on stages in NYC; later touring in music with major label bands, playing to sold out venues throughout the United States, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East and has released 6 albums of his own. In the years since, Wolff has produced upwards of 30 albums, worked with everyone from LL Cool J to Martina McBride, licensed music with MTV, built relationships in Nashville, Los Angeles, Boston and New York and has used those relationships to propel the careers of various artists. He has been a voting member of the Grammys in four categories as well as a member of ASCAP. Wolff plays piano, guitar, vocal and is available for sound. You've seen him with Martina McBride, on Fox Morning News, PBS, and opening for bands Sugarland, Miranda Lambert, Michelle Branch, & Little Big Town. Wolff also produced, mixed, toured w/James Wolpert of NBC's The Voice & Japanese rockstar KOJI.
